About the Closet:

Several years ago, a number of students, alumni, and staff began donating formal wear that could be borrowed by current students to attend Prom. 

You may visit the prom closet anytime the ETC student center is open. The closet is located in the student center behind the ping-pong table.

Prom Closet Procedures:

• Dresses are generally organized by size, but the sizing is not always accurate. If you pull a dress off the rack and decide to return it, please make sure you put it back neatly and on a hanger! 

• You are welcome to pull multiple dresses to try on, but make sure you bring back the ones you are not wearing so others can use them!

• The prom closet is free of charge and operates on an honor system - we don't have an official sign-out procedure. Instead, we just ask that you get the dress cleaned and returned shortly after prom. We trust you!

• If you would like to donate anything to the prom closet, let me know!

The Prom Closet is donation-based and currently mostly consists of dresses - we have a very limited number of suit pieces. Our tuxedo-wearers might be interested in exploring the Hillsborough Formalwear Outlet, which offers tuxedos for sale for only $99 (which is cheaper than renting in many places! Seriously good deal!). Many of your CCs will be taking hall trips to various prom shopping locations, so keep an eye out for those opportunities.
